a little less crazy and weird

First of all, thank you all who left me comments on the last post. I spent all of my blogging time this week reading your blogs instead of writing things on my own. It was nice. Really nice. Like a little party for me.

Second, you notice I changed my blog header again? That's because I had the following conversation with Clark three times this week.

...

Clark: Mom, show me the cute pictures.

I click on my blog and start to scroll to the flickr link...

Clark: NO. NOT THAT ONE.

He points emphatically at my blog header.

Clark: That picture is NOT MY FAVORITE.

Me: What picture do want to look at buddy?

Clark: Like a picture of my baby brother. Not THAT ONE. THAT one is crazy. And weird.

...

So there you have it. A new blog header, starring Clark's baby brother Alice.

  1. Oh Erin, this made me laugh so hard. I read it to Ian and he cracked up too. And he wants me to read it again :)

  2. Cuteness. Owen insists he has a sister. He talks about it all the time. Maybe he knows something we don't? :-)

  3. That just made me laugh out loud, and my students (because I'm totally reading this when I shouldn't be) looked at me funny, so I told them what I was laughing at, and they thought it was the cutest thing ever.
(One of the girls said that.)

  5. Clark is hilarious! I love that he calls Alice his baby brother :)

Love the new header, but I liked the old one too. Love those short girls used to wear in musicals in the 40s and 50s when they were practicing a dance number. I so wish I could look as lovely in shorts like those!

    Have a great weekend!

man, that is going on in our house these days too! no dinner, cartoon, snack, jammies, shoes, coat, game, or book will do these days... good to know that ours isn't an isolated case!
cute conversation, though "ITS NOT MY FAVORITE!"

    That little exchange was priceless.

And those photos really ARE cute. He knows great photos when he sees them, I guess. :)

P.S. What shirt are you wearing? It looks awesome on you.
