And it did rain.

We are conned Midwestern masochists.
We wait all Winter for a day like today.
Oh dumb emo Winter, today was worth it all.
Today was like the best vacation.
My face is still warm from the 73 degrees of sunshine, hours later.
Tomorrow it's going to rain.

...

I wrote that in a "note" on my iPod last night, not intending to post it here or anything.
I just wrote it there because my husband hogs our computer and I wanted to remember how warm and lovely our day had been. I had this deep buzzy feeling and I wish I had had a keyboard instead of a tappy tappy iPod.

I appreciate Luke's dedication to his job, but I think we need His & Hers laptops.

  1. His and her laptops really make all the difference
(or in our case, his laptop, her netbook...)

  2. I'm glad Chad is technologically iliterate, so I don't have to share "my" laptop very often :)
Your kids are SO cute and it looks like they are always having so much fun (with paper hats on!) I wish we lived closer because it looks like Lyla and Alice would have so much fun together :)

  5. I love the crowns! King and Queen of Spring :)

I vote netbook. Cheaper and very portable...and too dainty for your hubby to hog :)

  7. PS my word verification for that was "periguf"

A great name for a mystical character next time we play in the woods.

(what? she's not making any sense. I know.)

  10. love the new profile photo, you look so cute! I'm visiting my parents for a week in the south. It has rained ALL week here, but we did have one day of warm weather and as i sat soaking it up I began to understand how people could worship the sun.

  13. I was hoping you blogged after I saw you commented on my post. :) I love reading what you have to say. Seriously. Anyway, I know, Wednesday was AMAZING. I think we spent all day outside except for nap time. And it has given me so much hope. I love it.

Let's get our girls (and adorable Clark) together on a sunny day soon!

also, you and me? same problem with laptops. terry says no to his/her laptops because he thinks it will lead to his/her beds and then this:

  15. I'm so glad Stephan almost never gets on the computer. I think we'd definitely have to get his and hers if he did.

Ain't spring grand? Hope y'all have more warm weather coming your way.
