(he thinks he is Mario and I am Luigi and he needs to use the plunger to open up the next level and the refrigerator)

-

Refrigerator door plunged open, Clark eating "leaves" straight from the bag, typical weekday.

-

Oh, and the next day he did this during the three minutes it took me to put away Alice's laundry...

(He's a fan of leaves.)

-

(Especially with half of a bottle of Hidden Valley squeezed on top.)

PS. The Mario obsession is due to Luke's brilliant purchase of The Super Mario Bros Super Show on DVD. It is pretty horrible. Clark thinks it's the best thing that has ever in all three years of his life happened to him.

PPS. We bought him his own plunger.

  1. heehee, this so could be scenes from my home! We let the boys netflix that old skool horrid super mario super show, I could not get the "do the Mario" song out of my head for days! Although they are entertained by my 9month pregnant self dancing it for them. And yay for "leaves!" My guys eat them from the bag too, so far no plungers!

  2. he has his own plunger. This makes me giggle and get excited to see what my little boy is like in 3 years. Boys seem to be fun in a different kinda way...

  3. Who needs toys when you have a plunger?

    Love it. =^)

  4. Love it! TV is back-firing on us to. It used to entertain him so I could get 20 minutes of something done. Now it results in hours of pretend play. Not that I don't think that pretend play is good, but I can't only go up and down the stairs "climbing" and "flying" and "tracking dinosaurs" for so long.

  5. Same here! Except for the plunger. Well, basically my boys just love lettuce and ranch.

  9. Oh my...LEAVES. I love it. And the plunger. Just the most hilarious.

My boys call lettuce "salad" no matter what form it's in or what it's on. Like on a sandwich..."I don't want salad on my burger" :)

  10. Thank goodness you bought him his own plunger. In our house if there was a plunger stuck to the fridge, I would have to go buy a new fridge!
I caught my son shooting tampons into a puddle outside once saying they were exploding spaceships. Imagination at it's best.
    Hide the Tampax!
