i have teeth

People have been asking how the bigger kids are adjusting to the new tiny kid.

Click below to find out or if you like cute things or if you just want to hear me talking a lot in my mom voice.

Oh and I don't generally go around asking people how my baby smells but Alice loves to tell me that Baby Hal smells "SO good" and I was trying to coax that out of her.  It didn't work so I just sound like a weirdo.

Clark is every bit as enthusiastic about Hal as Alice is though he is not nearly as enthusiastic about sitting still for a video.

Do you think their adoration will last for a little while?  I was an only child until I was 15.  I have no idea how this works.

  1. Oh my, she is just so, SO sweet. Brother and sister love is wonderful. Mine adored baby sister for a short while, then got bored with her for a while until she learned to do interesting things. Now they're back to adoring/being annoyed that she messes with their stuff. Brother sister love is so wonderful. :-)

  2. Oh my goodness, I can hardly take the sweetness! From her precious little toddler voice to him just lying there with her!

And you should have a still shot of many seconds of this printed! Especially around 6 seconds. Adorable.

  8. that was absolutely adorable. my kids enjoyed the last baby until she was about 6 months old, then they lost interest until she was big enough to play with them.

  10. Oh my gosh she reminds me so much of Ivy! I can't (but I can!) imagine Ivy with a younger sibling!

    Soooo precious!!

Also, it's still lasted for Carter & Noah. Gray is more irritated by Ivy most days but DOES love her so much. It's evident.

  12. You were right. CUTEness! You're more trusting with your young toddler than we are with ours when it comes to holding the babies. :) Additionally, never noticed the (new?) blog header and twitter badge, but I like it. Simple and fitting. It's like candyland, but less game pieces to lose.

  14. This is so very sweet and lovely :) Ian still adores Annabel and they both still adore Evan.
This is totally off subject, but somewhere I saw a pic if Clark in his costume. He and Ian are going to be the same thing :) My other two are also sticking with the theme. We are all pretty excited.

  25. oh this is just too sweet.
    seriously.
    i love siblings together.
    unless they are fighting.
but i guess, if you can't learn to argue with someone that loves you unconditionally then who can you learn to argue with?

  30. Oh, just found your blog through Alaina. Your children are soo sweet! And Yes, I did read the Target story!
I have nine, currently 7 of those are 13 and under. My sister currently has 3, 3 and under as well. It is fun, and hard, and lovely, and exhausting, and Target is my favorite place, and when you take lots of small children in there, people stare at you, and you feel pressure to have perfectly behaved children, because, you know, if you can't handle them, why do you have so many? looks come at you as soon as one of them pipes up a bit. But, even when I have a them throwing fits and begging for something or tossing 17 boxes of cereal in the cart, they are still way more fun than the judgey people and their cranky anti-child faces!
Blog on, you write beautifully, and are very engaging and entertaining!
